Small Is Beautiful

By way of The Dream Life, I was led to Magpie Girl, who encourages us to share our Top 7 Blog posts (our own blog posts) of 2007

I love her Small is Beautiful manifesto; her revolution is one I happily ascribe to.

Here are seven of my favorite posts of 2007 and the reasons why I chose them:

Open Heart (Because this post is authentic and real and I didn't worry what anybody thought about it).

My Offering (A meaningful spread from my art journal).

Insert Clever Title Here (A post about my Birthday).

Officialness (When we finally, officially knew Mr. P. was leaving).

Less Waste (Sometimes it really is EASY being green).

Only Human (A gentle reminder).

The First 30 (The first 30 days apart, the first 30 artist trading cards for my year-long art project).

From a purely observational standpoint, I find it interesting that the posts with the most personal meaning to me, are the ones with the least interaction or commentary.  Also, most of these are from the latter half of the year as I continue to become more comfortable with this blog and sharing more authentically.

well said re - becoming more comfortable with blogging and sharing more authentically - I still feel like a work in progress - thanks for sharing all, i have really enjoyed "being a part of" your blogging journey!

I really am enjoying watching your project pace and commitment. Way to go! Just wanted to drop a line to say hey, and I've been lurking around for weeks and just not commenting. I hope your family is holding together well with Mr.P leaving. Thinking of you all!
